Ross Carter is the President of Tempus Ag, a grower focused agriculture chemical company. Tempus Ag has a mission to provide high quality products and service at a fraction of the cost. Ross started his career working in accounting for one of the largest landowners in the United States, G.M. Lawrence & Co. Ross then worked in operations for AgXplore International, working his way up to COO. Having spent his entire career working in agriculture, Ross realized the demand for inputs and opportunity to help growers realize savings, compelling him to create the vision and model for Tempus Ag, launched in January of 2022.
Ross received his Bachelor of Science in Business: Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University. Ross lives in Malden, MO with his wife, Katie, and two kids Auggie and Wyatt.
Scott comes to Tempus Ag with over 35 years of ag business experience including sales and regional management at retail and ag focused companies including Golden Harvest, Bayer Crop Science, MFA and Sound Ag. Scott is dedicated to helping farmers, ranchers and ag businesses increase their return on investment and he understands the challenges of today’s farm economy.
Scott is a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Agronomy and is a Certified Crop Advisor. Scott enjoys gardening with his wife Laura at their home in Maryville, Missouri.
Zach Carlson is a seasoned professional deeply entrenched in the agricultural sector. In his new role, Zach will focus on forging connections with growers, retailers, and regional industry leaders across Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and North Dakota. His efforts will drive the expansion into these states, ensuring that farmers gain access to high-quality products at a fraction of the cost. With 15 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Zach has excelled in various roles, including sales, seed, irrigation, equipment, and agronomy. His passion for working closely with farmers shines through in his dedication to understanding their needs and enhancing their productivity.
Zach graduated from the University of Nebraska, demonstrating his commitment to education and professional development. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father of two. Zach stays actively involved in his community, contributes to nonprofit organizations, and supports his children's sports activities.
